the Aube difference
Aluminum:
Our standard systems use high-quality aluminum frames. They have an unmatched strength to weight ratio, making them extremely durable and easy to install. They also remain virtually maintenance free with their rust and corrosion resistance, making them ideal for exterior use. Most of our systems come with thermally broken frames for energy efficiency, reducing condensation as well as heat and cold conduction. When looking for quality as well as affordability, aluminum is hard to match.

Steel:
In some applications, steel frames are necessary to achieve the look desired. Steel is a stronger material and can achieve greater weight capacities than aluminum, often allowing us to do larger openings and smaller frames. This however, comes with higher material costs and much heavier systems. While our steel systems will come pre-painted or powder coated, if scratched, steel is susceptible to rust if exposed to weather elements. Although they do require more maintenance, with proper care, steel doors can be timeless pieces.
Our standard frame colors come in silver, white, bronze, & black. We can also customize any frame color with a powder coated RAL #.
Glass:
Safety is our number one concern so we only offer tempered glass for our systems.
Our standard glazing for exterior applications is dual-pane, Low-E coated, and insulated with argon gas. This is a very efficient system that cuts energy costs, compared to a single-pane glass. Our standard u-factor = 0.40 and SHGC = 0.25
For interior partitions, tempered, single-pane glass is typically used.
While we do offer triple-pane glass for some systems. The primary benefit for this compared to dual-pane will be sound transmission reduction.

Muntins:
There are several options for the style of muntins you can use. We can do internal, external, or combination of both for a truly simulated steel look.
